RESEARCH ANXIETY
Dr. Ham's research involves both anxiety disorders and substance use disorders in adulthood and late adolescence. In particular, she is interested in developing a better understanding of the relationship between social anxiety disorder and alcohol misuse by identifying risk factors and protective factors (e.g., positive and negative alcohol outcome expectancies) for developing alcohol use disorders in clinical, community, and non-treatment-seeking college individuals.
CENTER FOR ANXIETY AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE
